I hope that Ms. I had the pleasure of reading this book a few weeks ago. Speaking of annoying, Dracula’s other brides are infuriatingly dull! She literally just stamped her foot and yelled “I hate you! He is just evil and I feel he would seek his revenge. Then things started to click in my brain.

Vlad has relentlessly haunted her dreams, or rather nightmares, since she left the Transylvanian castle- horrifically assaulting her and threatening her and those important to her It is gothic horror at it’s best. Black horses waded through the gloom drawing a carriage up to the front entrance of the hotel. Of course he has devised a plan, and it will involve his bride Lady Glynis. Again, I am not a vampire book reader, but this story drew me in and kept me interested, even the second and third times I read it while editing it. I could see myself walking the streets of Buda, and the Castle halls. This is what I am talking about! The Master had arrived.

This book unraveled in this complicated weaving of the traditional Dracula tale, with the perspective of his unwilling Bride Glynis Wright. I wasn’t too surprised that Rhiannon Frater’s Vengeance of the Vampire Bride was really slow compared to its predecessor, The Tale of the Vampire Brride, but I was hoping that some of the momentum would carry over; that just didn’t happen unfortunately.

The Vengeance of the Vampire Bride by Rhiannon Frater

I have gone ahead and purchased the 2 sequels and look forward to reading them! She’s a modern woman, a feminist who believes she should have the same freedoms as any man. Glynis is young lady from a respected English family. The light at the end of the tunnel. Then games are even more psychological and political than physical and I felt true horror as I read a number of the scenes.

All Lady Glynis Wright ever wanted was the freedom to live her life as she pleased. Rhianon, it rhiannn a very powerfully written piece, and emotionally charged.

I’m looking forward to the sequel!! Having had the absolute honor and pleasure to be the editor for this outstanding book, I may be a little bit biased. AmazonGlobal Ship Orders Internationally. But my fate was far more terrible than an arranged marriage when my family became prisoners to one of the most fearsome and powerful vampires of all time, Count Vlad Dracula.

Imprisoned in the decrepit castle in the Carpathian Mountains, my new life as a Bride of Dracula was filled with bloody feasts, cruel beatings, and sexual depravity. I hope there is a part 3 I was so drawn into the Countess and her new life I want to know more.

Want to Read saving…. Vampirs think I like that most about the story. Glynis resents the fact that she is being carted all over Europe to prospective male suitors.

Still love the book! Overall I was very impressed. The story is amazing: Just couldn’t put the book down. Another awesome book by Rhiannon. Another editing project is now a published book! It really explored the ‘evil vampire’. Glynis is her own person and living on her own. A home filled with eeriness and darkness.

The Vampire Bride Dark Rebirth Series

Seriez was a king and ran his home like one. The prose is wonderful, I never felt overwhelmed by the old-fashioned ambiance. I have seen many vampiree of Dracula that were just atrocious Van Helsing anyone? She loves scary movies, sci-fi and horror shows, playing video games, cooking, dyeing her hair weird colors, and shopping for Betsey Johnson purses and shoes.

I love that she isn’t just instantly going into her womanly role like a good girl should. Maybe that’s how romance is developed in Gothic Horror. I’m so glad I waited to start reading this trilogy till fampire 3 books were out cause I would have been so irritated not to be able to dive into the 3rd book after reading this one. However, I am a sucker for abusive, sociopathic, and brutish vampires apparently, because against my better judgment I keep on reading.

In fact, I was so entranced by it that the other book I was reading felt too modern. Imprisoned in the decrepit castle in the Carpathian Mountains, my new life as a Bride of Dracula was filled with bloody feasts, cruel beatings, and sexual depravity.

I really couldn’t bring myself to care for her, because she was just so dang annoying!
